The society makes use of many spaces around the university.

Visitors

Access for visitors is by prior arrangement only. No public right of access exists within university buildings.

If you are helping us with an event and are not a member of the university you must either be accompanied within university buildings or have signed out an external ID card.

Hours

Standard building hours are 08:00-18:00 Monday-Friday. Access outside these times is by ID card only.

Access overnight between the hours of 23:00 and 06:00 (or 08:00 for students) requires a special Out-of-Hours Working Permit which must be signed by your Head of Department/School and provided to University Security.

Note that student ID cards do not work until 08:00 and do not work during closure days and public holidays. If you require access early in the morning or during a closure period then you must either arrange this in advance or find a member of staff to escort you.
